Bonjour! Welcome to our updated website for the Cricklade & District Twinning Association. We recently celebrated 30 years of friendship together. Covid put paid to visits for a while there, and we have agreed the date for the Twinning visit 2024 as 30th May to 2nd June.
If you would like to partake, then we will match you with a suitable host in the beautiful town of Sucé-sur-Erdre, near Nantes, get in touch.
We’ve always been made very welcome and have been spoiled rotten with trips out, fine food and wine and a good old knees-up together. We welcome all ages (childrens’ groups with parents/DBS holder chaperones) and would love to bring a new set of Twinners with us this year. We’re exploring if the Cricklade Youth Football teams would be able to come along…more soon. A bientôt!
Meeting and Pétanque March 23rd.
We have scheduled a 10 minute meeting for March 23rd at 1pm in Cricklade Leisure Centre to give a ten minute update on progress and our future plans. This meeting will be followed by a few games of pétanque. Refreshments will be available, and a bar available in the leisure centre.
