A few reminders about the 23rd May trip to Sucé.
The trip will leave Cricklade Town Hall at 4.30pm in order to make sure we get to the ferry on time.
Don’t forget Passports, Travel Insurance and E111s.
There may be a small rebate on the trip, this will be dealt with on the coach.
One note for the way back, the coach will be leaving Sucé two hours later than it says in your schedule – don’t panic you still get 2 hours at the Hypermarket.
The annual Gourmet Evening was held on the 25th March at The College, Swindon. The meal was based on a theme of the Burgundy region of France. As usual the College put on an excellent show and everyone enjoyed themselves.
A quick reminder to everyone that your subs are due, please. Its that time of year again and if you haven't paid them yet please let Yvonne Keeble or Celia Binfield have them now (£5 adults - £12 families).
Please also contact Yvonne if you wish to join at 22 Pauls Croft - tel 751963
TWith the advent of summer and the proximity of the Sucé visit, it seemed too good an opportunity to miss.
TWe will be holding a Champagne and Strawberries Afternoon on Sunday the 8th of June at 98 Deansfield (bring your own cream).
Ticket prices are £5 a head and include strawberries and two free glasses of Champagne. This should be a really fun occasion so do fill in the form at the bottom of the page and come along.
A new event this one. We are planning a Boules afternoon for the Afternoon of the 20th of September followed by a Fish and Chip supper (or something approximating thereto).
The event will start at 2.30 for 3pm and probably last for around 4 hours. So that we don’t have to worry about the long walk home the event will be hosted at the White Lion.
This year we will be holding the “Annual Nosh” towards the end of November. Currently we are thinking of an Indian meal. More details will follow as we flesh out the details.
