2021 Twinning Visit Cancelled

We have agreed with our colleagues in Sucé that the visit planned to take place starting Thursday 8th July and ending on the Monday, will now not take place. Still too close to Covid19.

Albert Gernigon

We are very sad to inform you that Albert Gernigon died on 27th January.  He and his wife Catherine used to visit and receive Don and Elizabeth Peacock.  Catherine died in 2013.

Albert was a very active member of the twinning many years ago. Albert was still attending Twinning dinners in Sucé during the past years. He even replaced Marie Sinet  as a chairman of the Sucé Twinning Committee during long months at the beginning of the 2000's.

Summer Picnic - Saturday 31 July 2021

Usually we have a BBQ at the end of July, but this year we have to accommodate Social Distancing and other Covid issues. We will hopefully hold the event at the Leisure Centre and hope to have access to its newly refurbished facilities. It will be a bring your own food and drink  picnic.

Details of how to join the event will follow, as will details of facilities available.

Basically it is a chance to catch up with each after a long period of separation.

Barn Dance - November

We are planning a Barn Dance with Lamb Roast for November. Of course we may be frustrated by Covid, but we are being positive.

2021 AGM

We live in extraordinary times, so the timing of the AGM will be extraordinary this year. We will announce the date, once we know we can have a physical meeting. In line with our constitution we will give four weeks notice.
