AGM and Summer BBQ - Saturday 30 July 2022
The AGM will be held at 4.30pm on 30 July 2022 followed by the summer BBQ at 5pm.
All members are invited to the Association's AGM which is being held at the 45 High Street on Saturday 30 July 2022 starting at 4:30pm. This will be followed by the Summer Barbeque. Whilst the AGM is open to all, a charge of £8.50 will be made to all who stay for the Barbeque.
This AGM is somewhat different to usual, because, due to Covid, we have not had an AGM since January 2020.
At the AGM you will be advised on the Association’s activities during the past 30 months. We will report on plans for activities for 2022 and on the development of the events program for 2023). We will also need to elect a new committee. All the existing committee members (with the exception of Cathy Atkins) have agreed to seek re election. Cathy is stepping down after many years supporting the association especially is the area of catering.
We need new Committee members , so if you would like to contribute something to the running of the Association, please contact Chris (firstname.lastname@example.org) or come to the AGM and seek nomination. This is also your chance to have your say or make suggestions on how we can improve the Association.

Murder Mystery Play - 7th May
The Murder Mystery play was a welcome return to somewhat ordinary times as the impact of Covid on everyday life begins to diminish. This was our first substantial event since January 2020.
Many thanks to PADS (Purton Amateur Dramatic Society) for providing the Murder Mystery play and to Cathy and her helpers for providing the catering. The evening was a success with 85 guests at some 14 tables.
