Next year is the thirtieth anniversary of the Twinning, ideas for the activities we use to entertain the French during their visit are welcome.

Summer BBQ Saturday 27th July at 5pm

The BBQ will be held at Chris & Cathy Atkins Home at 45 High Street, Cricklade next door to C&R Grocers. Tickets are £8.50 for adults, children go free.

Please let us know whether you will be attending, so we can ensure we have the right amount of food, if you require the vegetarian option please let us know - email to tickets@crickladetwinning.org.uk. You can pay on the night.

We provide the food, but we ask you to provide chairs, drink and glasses.

We will welcome any puddings homemade or otherwise.

As usual we would gratefully accept raffle prizes.

Quiz Night - Friday 25th October Sat 14 September at 7.30pm changed  - Town Hall

We are running a quiz night in the Town Hall on Friday 25th October at 7.30pm. Tickets are available from Chris - email tickets@crickladetwinning.org.uk.

Tickets will be £8.00 for adults  (£4.00 for non-adults) and include a Ploughman's Supper. Bring your own glasses and drink.

Twinning Visit to Sucé 2019

The visit started with a Civic Reception at the new building, l'Escale Culture, at La Papiniere on Thursday. The following brief film was shown, which shows Sucé at its best. 

Friday saw a trip out to the Troglodyte Village of Rochemenier and to a rose garden at the nearby Doué la Fontaine, which is famous for roses and rose products.

Saturday was a day with families followed by a Soirée guinguette  at the Mazerolles Sailing Club.  A Soirée guinguette is an evening of music, eating, dancing and a little drink.

Sunday was an outing to the Mourbihan Region, the village of la Gacilly associated with the perfumer Yves Rocher and to the quaint village of Rochefort en Terre.

Monday was spent with families until it was time to get the plane home at 7.30pm

Cricklade Festival Bottle Stall - Sunday June 16th

Thanks to everyone who helped to run our bottle stall at the Cricklade Festival and thanks to everyone who donated bottles.
