Cricklade Twinning  September 2017 Newsletter

Safari Supper - 16th September

We have plenty of hosts, now we need a few more guests. So please phone Jane Whinfrey on 750048 and let her know if you want to participate as soon as possible, because we have to complete the planning.

If you would like to provide a dessert please let Jane know. Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements. Tickets will be £10 a head (hosts go free)

The Safari Supper starts with everyone meeting at 7.15pm chez Sam and Ewan Murray – Willowfield House – it’s the fifth house up Common Hill on the left after the Fiddle. There will be tasteful balloons on the night.

At that point if you are not hosting a starter, you will be handed a slip of paper, which says where you are eating your starter. When you have finished your starters, it is all change. Your host will hand you another slip and this tells you where you are off to for your main course (or to your own house to act as host for the main course). Dessert is easy we all go back to Sam and Ewan’s.

Summer BBQ - 22nd July

The summer BBQ was threatened by rain, but half the guests ate outside and half inside. We were able to do the raffle and vote of thanks to Chris & Cathy in the garden. Thanks also to Terry who helped Chris with the barbequing this year and to everyone who made a contribution to a wonderful evening.
