Cricklade Twinning February 2017 Newsletter
Murder Mystery Evening - Saturday 8th April at 7.30pm
A new event this year. Our troop of actors act out a mystery, you must play detective and solve clues as the evening progresses.
Why not have some fun and bring friends and make up a table.
Supper will be served midway through the evening – ham and cheese ploughman’s with a veggie sausage plait alternative for vegetarians. Please bring your own drinks and glasses.
The venue will be Cricklade Town Hall, the tickets are £10.00.
Tickets available from Jane Whinfrey: email email@example.com or call Jane on (01793)750048.
We would be delighted with any provided raffle prizes.
Twinning Visit - May 2017
Just to remind you that we are flying to Sucé on Thursday 25th May evening and returning on Monday 29th May early evening.
Travel to Bristol Airport will be by car – we be contacting everyone travelling via Bristol to arrange car sharing.
We would like to remind everyone that we are levying a charge of £30 to cover coach hire in France.
We have hopefully got everyone’s intention regarding the visit, but if want to go but haven’t contacted me or you know someone who wants to go, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Dates for your Diary
The following events are scheduled for this year:
Cricklade Festival - 18th June - we will be running the bottle stall.
Summer BBQ - 22nd July – hosted at Cathy Atkins again this year starts at 5pm.
Safari Supper - 16th September – back again this year
Beetle Drive - 14th October – will be held in the Jenner hall and will start at 7pm to hopefully encourage more young people to attend.
Barn Dance - 11th November – will start at 7.30pm in the usual format.
Cathy Atkins has a collection of 50 cutlery sets, this is very helpful, but in reality, we need about 100 sets to avoid cutlery hire charges.

The next Committee meeting is Monday 13th March at Jane’s house – 7 Home Ground.
