Cricklade Twinning June 2017 Newsletter
Cricklade Festival - 18th June
We still need lots of bottles to run our bottle stall successfully, we need a few good bottles, but other bottles also make for a good stall. Your generosity will be appreciated
To donate a bottle(s), deliver them to 7 Home Ground or if nobody is home drop them to No 6 (next door). Alternatively, phone Jane Whinfrey on 750048 and we will collect.
The stall will be outside 45 High Street (next door to C&R Grocers).
We also need volunteers to look after the stall. We appreciate that our members are often involved in several stalls, but the odd hour does allow the stalwarts to take a break. So, if you could email me (chair@ crickladetwinning.org.uk) and let me know what period you can be on the stall, that would be wonderful.
We will be setting up the stall from 9am.
Summer BBQ - 22nd July
Note we have moved this back a week, so make a date in your diary for the summer BBQ. Start time will be 5.00pm at Chris & Cathy Atkins 45 High Street, Cricklade.
Tickets are £8.50 a head. Bring own chairs, drinks and glasses.
Please email me, if you are coming so we have an idea of numbers (chair@ crickladetwinning.org.uk) .

Twinning Visit - May 2017
Thirty-three of us flew or arrived at Sucé by other means. Everyone had a good time and the weather was reasonably kind, some said too hot.
Next year’s visit we are proposing the weekend of the 7th and 8th July as the core of the visit.
The next Committee meeting is Monday 10th July at Jane’s house – 7 Home Ground.
